[很有紐約特色的三星Eleven Madison Park] New York, New York


我覺得有時候光是看餐廳的設定或是食物照片就能大概知道自己會不會喜歡這間餐廳。Eleven Madison Park 就是給我這樣的感覺。以前只是光看照片就覺得自己一定會喜歡。

左邊是冷的oyster右邊是熱的。熱的那道配上啤酒更好吃了。

朋友笑說這就是菜脯 有turnip乾還有醃過的比較脆跟酸的或是濕度比較高相dried fruits口感的 不同味道跟口味搭在一起很有趣

配的奶油鹹的那個是有加duck fat 有點偏鹹但是特別而且美味

搭配脆脆的蔬菜很有趣!我以為是brussel sprout? 但看後來給的菜單說是red cabbage?
菜有一點偏酸 但我沒吃出蘋果? 記得是金桔?

這道鴨肉真的很厲害.....因為有dry aged過鴨肉的風味更有層次...非常喜歡外層脆脆的香料...不知道是當時是喝太多酒已經醉了還是怎樣,回頭看當時的筆記都是"sooooooo goooood"不停的感嘆。配菜的菇也好吃,醬汁也是一絕。右上方的小晚上層是非常香滑的mashed potatoes,而底下藏了duck leg confit。 這道鴨不只是呈現方式美(雖然在西雅圖的Canlis也看過同樣的鴨,但好像emp的更美....鴨皮上那均勻撒上的香料真是太美了...),味道更是不輸給其外表,相比之下西雅圖的Canlis真的就是學來的菜.....味道當時是覺得好...但跟EMP相比EMP高出了不止一大截。

甜甜的像蜂蜜一樣...喝了這麼多酒已經醉了呈超級開心狀態...筆記裡是寫"dessert wine is like honey OMG"哎

每道菜都很精緻並美味!甜點水準也高!當天最喜歡鴨肉,鵝肝跟薰鱘魚也是當天很驚艷的菜。不只是料理精緻、擺盤美麗並新奇、食物呈現的方式也很有娛樂性。例如龍蝦醬汁的調理或是膀胱煮芹菜根或是美麗的鴨。非常喜歡!比Le Bernardin值得多了!目前應該是在美國總體體驗最喜歡的一間餐廳!還想再回來!!
